Registration Information

2013 Market Dates – June 11 –  August 27, 5:00 – 8:30 PM

Registration is now open for the 2013 season.

Vendor Orientation is Tuesday, May 14,  Time: 5:30 Location: 400 E, Main street Ste. 140

SPACES AND DATES ARE LIMITED FOR ALL VENDOR TYPES AT THIS TIME. THERE ARE NO SPACES FOR JUNE 11 and 18. Other dates are not guaranteed.
VENDORS APPLYING FROM NOW ON WILL BE PLACED ON A WAITING LIST. 

WE ARE NO LONGER ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR:  Jewelry, soaps and body products, candles and oils, berry growers, honey and bee products, Shave ice and frozen deserts.

Each year the Hillsboro Tuesday Marketplace looks for new, high quality growers, artisans, and unique food producers who use locally grown ingredients and home made crafts to add to our community market. We also welcome established food service vendors, who can cook on site and delight our visitors with international and tradition foods, and non-profit and community organizations who have stories and services to share.

Produce, Plants and Flowers – 10×10 space $35 per week

It is required that each vendor grow 100% of the product he/she sells. Only locally (i.e. Oregon and southwest Washington) grown, caught and gathered products may be sold at the markets. Examples include berries, fruits, grains, flowers, fish, vegetables and nuts, plants, trees and herbs. Each produce and nursery vendor must have a farm check prior to attending the market. - Apply Now


Crafters and Artisans - 10×10 space $35 per week

Tuesday Marketplace encourages local artisans and vendors of handcrafted items. Each item must be made by the vendor. The market does not allow re-sale of crafts bought from distributors. All crafters and artisans will be required to be juried by the market manager prior to attending the market.

A “vendor check” may be required prior to your acceptance into the market. All crafters/artists are accepted on a “first-come, first-served” basis with consideration given to prior attendance record, seniority, product quality, and uniqueness of product.- (top)Apply Now

cookies
Processed Foods - 10×10 space $35 per week

Agricultural producers may have their products dried, ground, roasted, smoked, frozen or otherwise altered in a simple, one stage processing method. Products must have appropriate labels with names, address, product name, ingredients, net weight, permits, price, and any other information required by the Oregon Department of Agriculture

Non-agricultural producers may sell products which they have cooked, canned, preserved or otherwise treated in a certified kitchen. Products must have appropriate labels with name, address, product name, ingredients, net weight, permits and price.Processed food vendors must make products in a certified kitchen. Processed food vendors will not be allowed into any market prior to providing the market office with these documents. (top)Apply Now

Prepared Food – Main Food Court - 10×12 space $120 per week

Prepared food vendors must provide proof of liability insurance, copy of a current Temporary For Profit Restaurant License, and all other licenses or permits required by the city, county or state to sell at any market (obtained from the ODA Food Safety at (503) 986-4750). Prepared food vendors will not be allowed into any market prior to providing the market office with these documents.

Prepared Food – Who’s on 3rd Food Court – 10×10 space $60 per week

We have just a few spaces for food on 3rd. vendors have to be self contained, there is no power for cooking.

community
Non profits/Community Benefit Organizations -
10×10 space $25 per week

The Tuesday Marketplace, on a case-by-case basis, allow nonprofit/community benefit organizations to attend the markets. Please contact the market manager for space availability, fees and information on the products that can be sold and/or displayed by nonprofit/community benefit vendors.

The Hillsboro Tuesday Marketplace retains the right to refuse any organization for any reason. Nonprofit/community benefit organization/business admission is at the discretion of the market manager
Local/Home-based Businesses – 10×10 space from $40 per week (please ask about other business options)

We have several options for small local and home based businesses to promote their service. Business vendors may not sell any products but can collect contact information and hand out samples and information. Please contact the manager for details on promoting at the Marketplace. Space is limited and there is no fee or pay for approved performers in some areas, but it is a great place for promotion of your band, music or entertainment, you may sell CD’s and offer a tip jar. Entertainers who charge for their services will be charged a booth fee. All Entertainers must be approved by the Market. Entertainment will be placed in the area most suitable for their art. Amplified music is only permitted in approved areas. See more information here

Political or Religious Activities

The Tuesday Marketplace is not a forum for political or religious activities. Permits will not be issued to persons or organizations wishing to campaign or proselytize. No solicitation is allowed.(top)
