Even though the Market if over there is still lots going on behind the scenes. I am planning more events, looking for more bands and checking out vendors to bring in. Right now though we need a new poster to advertise the event so we are holding a contest.

This is the first annual Poster Art Contest for the Hillsboro Tuesday Marketplace, Inc.  The winning design will have the opportunity to create the 2010 Tuesday Marketplace Poster and have a space at the event, for one night, to showcase their work as well as be featured on the website. In addition, the winning entry will receive a cash prize of $500.

Every year a magnificent poster is created to advertise and promote this annual event. Each season a different local artist is chosen to create the poster and each season the artist depicts their idea of what our event is all about.

This is a wonderful opportunity for artists of all mediums and it comes with bragging rights too.
