Are You a Teen With Artistic Talents?
In February, the Hillsboro Chamber of Commerce School to Career program will start its search for students interested in showing and selling their art at Hillsboro Tuesday Night Market this summer.
The Chamber will provide three 2 hour workshops on April 4, 18 and May 2 to help students with the business aspects of selling their art. Some of the areas covered will be procurement, pricing, display, sales techniques and include real time feedback from various members of the community. A brief informational meeting will be held on March 8th at 4:15 at the Hillsboro Chamber.

We are offering limited space for 12 weeks for teens to show and sell all those creative things you make. This event is free to all Washington County High School Students who create their own art or craft projects. We have very limited space so apply early.
Students from Hillsboro High Schools Culinary programs work with chefs from New Seasons to plan and create dishes from fresh local in season vegetables. Students must apply and be approved by the culinary department in your school.
