Continue reading »]]> The Foodborne Illness Prevention Program is in the process of reviewing and updating our statewide food safety standards.  Our current standards are based upon the 1999 FDA Food Code and we plan to adopt the 2009 FDA Food Code.  We anticipate that the new rules will be in effect on July 1, 2012.  Please bookmark this page and come back often for updates on the process and specific information about the changes and how they will affect food service establishments, local health departments and the dining public.
